Gorgeous papers

I have just discovered a friend has been in hospital while we've been away so tonight I raided my stash of gorgeous papers and made this for her. She loves all things of a lilac hue! The fabric flowers have a smiley button sewn in the centre and the sparkle circle started as plain lilac paper, was double embossed with a versamark pad and clear sparkle embossing powder and hey presto. Get well soon Barbara! Love Rosie

Been away but now I'm back

We've been away for a couple of weeks recharging our batteries after a very stressful year with a family bereavement and family illnesses. Thought I'd share some photos from Florida which have a soothing factor to my mind. Thanks for looking, Rosie

Garden card

A friend sent me some rubber stamps she thought I'd like and this is the first time I've used them. The backing paper of peacock feathers is from Graphicus Guild and the colours just fitted perfectly, as did the sentiment! I was right out of my comfort zone with these colours, this was a real challenge yet the result is growing on me! Thanks for looking, Rosie

Spotty dog

Marshall seems to think it's wonderful when one of us is home all day - are we here just to play with him instead of going to work? He does seem to understand I've had a bug and he has escorted me where ever I've been round the house this past week - he'd have made the coffee if he could I'm sure! I'm starting to get over this bug now so he better make the most of the attention and day time company as it won't be for much longer!
